FUN FACTS
Erin is a powerlifter and plant enthusiast. She owns over 30
plants (not counting the trees!)
WHY DESIGN?
Erin chose design because it was a field that fit her perfectly. Design allows
her to combine her creativity and problem-solving skills into one career.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Erin aspires to work in an advertising agency after college and eventually become a professor.
FREE TIME ACTIVITIES
In her free time, Erin enjoys being outdoors, kayaking and hiking.
She also enjoys working out and training in powerlifting, watching
The Office, and shopping for more plants.

Aubrey has gotten the hiccups every day for over a year.
She has also been a vegetarian for 14 years.

Aubrey enjoys logo and web design.

Aubrey loves more traditional art such as drawing, painting,
and photography. She also loves reading, listening to music,
and video games.

Eliza danced for 15 consecutive years of her life, starting when
she was 3 years old.
WHY DESIGN?
Eliza chose design because it was the ideal combination of art and technology. She also enjoys the opportunity to communicate with others through art.

In her free time, Eliza enjoys watching movies, taking care
of her plants, and embroidering.

WHY DESIGN?
Xander chose design because he believes it is essential to everyday life. He notes that we’re constantly surrounded by design, and having the opportunity to participate in something that prominent makes him happy.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Xander's aspirations in design are to be able to work on projects that allow him to gain more knowledge and travel to new places.

Hannah has three dogs by the names of Pocko, Penelope, and Pepper, and seems to buy more succulents than she can care for
(but it is getting better).
WHY DESIGN?
Hannah chose design because she wanted a fulfilling career in art that tends to her interests and skills. She was inspired by the works
of Pixar, and it is her dream to work alongside some of the artists
and designers there.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Hannah aspires to be a graphic designer for film companies,
such as Pixar and Disney.

Ashlyn has a dog with two different colored eyes (one blue
and one brown!)
WHY DESIGN?
Ashlyn originally planned on pursuing music education in college.
In the meantime, a friend suggested that she join the design class offered at her high school. Ashlyn never looked back!
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Ashlyn's current aspiration is to become an in-house UI/UX
or product designer.

Hanna never learned how to ride a bicycle as a child,
and to this day, she still doesn't know how to.

Hanna aspires to be part of a small design firm startup
that specializes in identity and packaging design.

In her free time, Hanna likes to hang out with her pets

Nikki has played violin for 7 years, is adopted from China,
and loves matcha green tea.

Nikki hopes to have her own studio or work alongside famous
music artists.
WHY DESIGN?
To Nikki, design is everywhere and relevant to everything.
It's something that allows her to visually bring her ideas to life
and is very rewarding when people are impacted by her creations.

Jaclyn was a Ball State Cheerleader for a year and has taken up boxing as a new side hobby.

Jaclyn's aspirations are to design for a thriving company and to work towards owning a successful business.
WHY DESIGN?
Art is an escape into another world, where there are no boundaries or limitations in the things that we create. Jaclyn chose art and design as her career simply because they embody freedom, leaving one with limitless opportunities to explore the realms of what is right inside us.

Jaclyn's favorite artists are Andy Warhol, Picasso, and Lee Krasner.
Her favorite designer is Milton Glaser and Koketit.

ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Ashley's aspirations in design involve the incorporation of her abilities as a storyteller, primarily through illustration. She would love to pursue a pathway as a designer for children’s books and media.
WHY DESIGN?
Ashley wanted to find a platform where she could incorporate her passion for imagery with the ability to connect and make a difference within the minds and hearts of her audience; it was here when she realized that graphic design was the opportunity to do just that and so much more.

Jadzia loves to wander around local flea markets and thrift stores, looking at all the wonderfully random items people have for sale.

Jadzia hopes that she will be able to reach audiences and positively broaden their perspectives through design.

Jadzia can play the clarinet and enjoys playing a wide range of board games with her friends.

Audrey has loved rock climbing since she was little. Her love for the activity began when she was four years old and climbed the side of Mickey's house in Disney World.
WHY DESIGN?
Being a visual learner, Audrey believes it is important to use imagery as a means of communication. Now, as a designer, she can help make imagery that will convey messages clearly.
FREE TIME ACTIVITIES
When she is not in the studio, Audrey likes to hike a lot. She also takes many photographs and makes tons of smoothies.
