OVERVIEW:

SciAll is a nonprofit science education and research organization dedicated to expanding public interest in STEM by humanizing scientists and making the scientific process accessible to everyone. Through a network of volunteer scientists, each representing diverse fields, backgrounds, and life experiences, SciAll produces free, self-reflective video content that reveals the intuitive, emotional, and often exhilarating human side of science. Their mission centers on demystifying scientific discovery, inspiring students from underrepresented communities, and providing transparent insight into STEM learning and career pathways. SciAll also evaluates the impact of its content through ongoing research, ensuring that its approach remains effective, equitable, and continuously evolving.

RESULTS:

The resulting logo distills SciAll’s mission into a simple yet meaningful symbol. The horizontal bar connecting “Sci” and “All” serves as a visual bridge, representing the organization’s role in connecting people to scientific discovery and to the humans behind it. The intentional space between the two-name components creates an area for interpretation allowing imagery, words, or icons to fill the gap. This flexible design decision echoes the openness and infinite curiosity inherent in scientific exploration.

 

The color palette reinforces these values through cool, refreshing blue and green hues drawn from natural scientific environments. Light and dark variations provide versatility across platforms, while evoking trust, clarity, and approachability. Together, the logo and color system communicate a brand personality that is honest, diverse, inspiring, relatable, and raw celebrating the human stories of science and inviting viewers of all backgrounds to “harvest their wonder.”
