Jeff Brackett is a professor from Ball State University who also works out of Muncie as anartist. He is currently working toward establishing himself as a full-time artist and creative. His work specializes in large scale ink drawings of interconnecting lines.Studio 165+ wasapproached by theJeff Brackettseeking an identitysystemdesign for his personal brand toreflect his unique aspects and goalsof his artwork.

RESULTS:

The identity system was intended to mimic the curvilinear linework within Jeff Brackett’sartwork. The letters “J” and “B” are connected byalternating lines that morph and merge intoone another. The movement of the lines represent the journey that one takes as anartist andthe idea that art is fluid and constantly changing. The secondary information uses a clean and simplistic typeface to balance the complexity of the monogram.
